Agent Info

Glenn Tilbrook has had an interest in music for as long as he can remember. As a child the traditional career options, such as a fireman or policeman, held no appeal when considering the attractions of touring the country playing songs to adoring fans. Growing up in the sixties, Glenn found himself favouring the Monkees and later the Beatles during what he claims to be his most influential period. In 1973 Glenn formed Squeeze with Chris Difford, a partnership that has recorded 13 albums over a 26 year period. The band's most recent album, 'Domino', was released in November '98 on Quixotic Records, a label started by Tilbrook as an outlet for his material as well as a platform for other artists. Outside of Squeeze he has written with people as diverse as Julian Lennon and Cathy Dennis, played with Eric Clapton and Keith Richards, played and sang songs by Elvis Costello and Aimee Mann, and had songs written alongside Chris Difford covered by Sting, Joe Cocker and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.
